Pamporovo Ski Holidays

Pamporovo is known for being Bulgaria’s sunniest mountain resort as it has on average 270 days of sunshine a year. The main hotels are in a purpose-built village in an attractive forest setting slightly away from the slopes. The shuttle buses regularly run to and from the slopes.

Pamporovo Skiing and Snowboarding

Pamporovo is very much a beginners resort as the runs are mostly easy but they are planning on linking to a neighbouring resort which will increase the area by 80Km. The slopes are pretty and sheltered and cut through the forest. The ski schools are reputed to be good as the staff speak good English and are patient and friendly. Beginners will just love the terrain as it is ideal for first timers. Take a ‘first time’ package at the time of booking as this is fantastic value for money. Moderate intermeditates will find a choice of runs leading back to the village that are good practise for parallel turns. Stronger skiers and boarders will head for the ‘Wall’ as this is a steeo and challenging black mogul field. However this is really the only difficult run in the resort.

Pamporovo Apres Ski

Apres ski in Pamporovo is made up of a handful of bars that give great value entertainment. Head for the likes of the White Hart Pub, Dack’s bar of B.J.’s. There is a swimming pool in the Hotel Perelik and some saunas. There is also bowling and folklore nights.
