Canazei & Campitello Ski Holidays

Canazei is located at the head of the beautiful Fassa valley. There is a fantastic Italian atmosphere to be found in this vibrant and pretty resort. Canazei sits at the very heart of the 'Dolomiti Superski' area and is made up of narrow streets, rustic buildings, traditional hotels and lovely little shops. Campitello is the smaller of the two resorts and sits just down the valley at 1440 metres. This is a quieter village compared to the bustling Canazei. There is one main cable car that links the village to the ski circuit.

Canazei & Campitello Skiing and Boarding

Canazei and Campitello are located in Trentino which is part of the massive Sella Ronda area in the Dolomites. This area gives access to a massive 1220Km of pistes and some fantastic off piste. The Marmolada glacier is also in Trentino and is reachable on skis from Arabba. In the morning skiers and boarders can take the central Belvedere gondola to directly link in with the Sella Ronda circuit. The Sella Ronda is a unique circular tour around the Sella massif that is easily done in a day for early intermediate standards and above. You can do the circuit in either direction by following the clear coloured signs. If you head out early in the morning you can take some of the diversions from the route such as the runs down from Ciampinoi to Santa Cristina and Selva, from Dantercepies to Selva and from the top of the Boe gondola back to Corvara. This is an ideal area for groups to ski or board as different abilities can do the circuit and arrange to meet along the way at any of the many welcoming rifugios. There is a half pipe above Canazei and some cross country loops can also be found. The off piste routes are spectacular. The classic off piste run is the Val Mesdi which is a long shaded couloir on the Gruppo Sella. The Marmolada glacier also offers some fantastic dropping off points and has a good range of descents.

Canazei and Campitello Apres Ski

There are several bars and stubes to choose from in Canazei such as the Husky bar where the partying goes on till the wee small hours. There is also sometimes live music here. Off the slopes there are plenty of good walks where you can admire the stunning surroundings and shopping. There is also a pool, sauna, Turkish baths and skating in the neighbouring resort of Alba. In Campitello head towards the Da Giulio bar for some lively apres ski.

Canazei and Campitello Childcare

There is a pre bookable kindergarten based at the La Marmolada Ski School for children aged 4-12yrs. This runs from Sundays through to Fridays 8:30am to 5pm. This also includes 3 hours tuition each day and lunch. Please call or email for up to date price and availability
